Bruce Gladstein is a business professional who earned his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Law. While training for his degree, he had to chose between two unique opportunities to gain professional work experience. He could either work under one sole practitioner to obtain hands-on-training or perform research and review paperwork at a large law firm.

Bruce Gladstein knew that if he worked under a sole practitioner, he could quickly develop a wealth of knowledge. This experience, however, would not guarantee him a job offer after graduating law school since the firm was essentially a one-man business. If he had chosen to gain experience with the large law firm instead, Bruce Gladstein would most likely have a job waiting for him upon completion of law school. This opportunity, however, would have taught him very little about what it takes to become a lawyer. He opted to work for the sole practitioner in order to gain the proper business experience and knowledge needed to start his own firm: The Law Offices of Bruce Gladstein.

For nearly twenty years, The Law Offices of Bruce Gladstein remained a prominent firm in the state of Rhode Island. During this time, the firm scored a number of major victories such as:

  • Saving a movie production company thousands of dollars due to a foresight in drafting the contracts when the movie was cut due to casting issues.

  • Revising, drafting, and reviewing contracts for a number of clients.

  • Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients, including those who owed money on medical bills and loans. With his effective negotiating skills, Bruce Gladstein was able to get these individuals more money by reducing their debt.

  • Obtaining a $1 million award from a jury for a discrimination case in which the highest pre-trial offer was originally $100,000.

  • Winning a multi-million dollar case settlement within a 2-year period, even when 6 other attorneys had previously tried to settle the case over a 16-year period.

As the founder of his own firm, Bruce Gladstein was also responsible for all functions of the human resources department. In addition, he was also in charge of marketing, budgets, vendors, and long term planning. He continues to draw on this legal and business knowledge today as the owner of L L H Consulting.

Founded in 1929, Psi Chi is an International Honor Society in Psychology that seeks to encourage, stimulate, and advance the science of psychology while maintaining excellence in scholarship. Psi Chi Honor Society has chartered over 1,100 chapters at senior colleges and universities all across the United States, as well as Canada, the Caribbean, Ireland, and New Zealand. Each chapter elects a board of directors composed of psychologists who are current Psi Chi members to guide the affairs of the organization and regulate future policies. The central office in Chattanooga, Tennessee has a total registration record of over 500,000 lifetime members.

Psi Chi Honor Society serves to educate individual members on two main goals: the first is the society’s obligation to provide academic recognition by offering membership. The second goal is slower and more difficult to accomplish, but benefits Psi Chi members in the long run. Each local chapter must acknowledge the individual’s academic accomplishments by providing a pleasant environment from which to spark a member’s creative development. The Psi Chi Honor Society also encourages professional growth through fellowship programs designed to enhance the member’s regular curriculum and practical experience. Membership into the Psi Chi Honor Society is open to men and women in undergraduate or graduate programs who are studying psychology or interested in exploring psychology outside of the classroom.

Bruce Gladstein is a member of this international organization and continues to use his psychology background within his consulting firm, L L H Consulting.  At L L H Consulting, Bruce Gladstein educates business leaders about what they can do to improve earnings, eliminate poor financial behaviors among employees and managers, and keep companies compliant with labor issues and discrimination. Bruce Gladstein still applies his background in psychology for all of his professional and business endeavors.

Phi Delta Phi is the oldest international legal organization and honor society in existence. The fraternity was established at the University of Michigan on December 13, 1869, which predated the establishment of the American Bar Association. Phi Delta Phi was originally created as a law fraternity, but was later changed to an honor society in 2012.

John M. Howard, a graduate of Monmouth College from the class of 1871, was the first to initiate the fraternity. He wanted to devote an organization solely to students of the legal profession.

Soon after, four University of Michigan law students followed in Howard’s footsteps and urged the faculty to create Phi Delta Phi. This legal organization has since fostered ethical conduct, civility, and scholarship all across the world. Phi Delta Phi has grown beyond the borders of the United States to Canada, Latin America, and Europe.

Academic excellence and professionalism are two attributes Phi Delta Phi values. Undergraduate students in law who also demonstrate integrity and service for their profession have the greatest potential for induction. Bruce Gladstein joined Phi Delta Phi during his time at the University of Pittsburgh Law School, where he acquired his Juris Doctorate.

After graduating he became the owner and operator of the Law Offices of Bruce Gladstein, which focused on labor and discrimination issues for over 19 years.

He recently founded L L H Consulting, a Legal, Labor, and Human Resources firm. Bruce Gladstein uses his world-class education to help business leaders and companies reduce risks and liabilities associated with legal and employee issues. He has also trained organizations and their leaders on topics such as statutes, protocols, fiscal health, and how to enhance market competitiveness.

As a member of Phi Delta Phi, Bruce Gladstein is regarded as someone whose education, personal integrity, and moral compass are beyond reproach.
